BridgeWay Station and Mauldin finally have an upscale restaurant – “Rotie by Stella’s”.

Do you enjoy going to dinner in an upscale restaurant?  If so, you no longer have to travel out of Mauldin to reach one.

Once a hostess has seated you at your table, take a look at the menu.  The first thing you notice is the variety of appetizers, entrees, and desserts.  There is something to please every palate, and enough variety to assure that you will want to make return trips to Roti’s, just to try more of what is offered on the menu.  

Then check out the wine list:  along with a variety of American wines, wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Spain, Italy, and elsewhere are also offered.  Every wine is offered by the glass as well as by the bottle.

The wait staff knows their wines:  the Bordeaux goes well with a steak, but for the Roast Duck, they will recommend the Malbec, from Argentina.  It is a great match; the Malbec’s rich complexity is very enjoyable, and it enhances the taste of the roast duck.    It is worth a meal at BridgeWay’s Roti just to enjoy savoring the wine for its own sake.

While waiting for your meal, take a look at the others in the restaurant.  People are dressed appropriately:  slacks, tucked-in shirts, and even a sports jacket for men; dresses, or blouses and nice slacks or skirts for women.  

A meal that is memorable from appetizer to dessert is what an upscale restaurant should be all about.  Stella’s Roti definitely meets – and exceeds – that standard.

Reservations are recommended.  Make your reservations soon, and prepare to savor something special.
