The 125th anniversary of the Peden reunion was held July 19-20 at Fairview Presbyterian Church and was filled with laughter and fun. Cousins renewed old acquaintances and met new ones. It was a busy weekend of tours on Friday and a BBQ supper. Saturday our service featured local historians and Fairview members Barrow and Caroline Wheary who discussed how our early pioneer ancestors lived and entertained us with traditional music. Lunch was served afterwards.
