Fireman Bruce Creamer volunteers to do traffic/parking control at Cedarhurst Event

S87-1.jpgThe Fork Shoals Historical Society contacted Dunklin Fire Rescue District several weeks ago to discuss the upcoming McCullough Cedarhurst mansion viewing. According to Chief Creamer, “Jim Scott, the society’s president, asked if we could attend the event and assist with parking. We gladly accepted the invitation to ensure that the Historical Society was available to provide the visitors with the best experience possible by passing on the wealth of knowledge they have about this amazing property. Our volunteers genuinely enjoy helping the community and firmly believe that a familiar face during an emergency can make a difference. That’s why we do things like this, and why our motto is ‘Building a Safer Community Together’. So much more can be accomplished with a team and our citizens sure are lucky to have such an amazing team supporting them.”?
