Dear Bob, 

You have been so community-minded covering our Mauldin Garden Club events. It is with pleasure that I tell you that since you began publishing the information about our meetings, we have gained 10 new members. In addition to our club providing educational information about horticulture, we also raise money for community beautification as well as participate in activities to preserve and maintain the Kilgore Lewis House. The Kilgore Lewis House is an historical house located at 560 N Academy St., Greenville SC. 

Your paper reaches many in the Mauldin, Simpsonville, and Fountain Inn area which in turn sheds light on all of our garden club activities, thank you. 

Also, in a recent issue of the Sentinel, I read of your illustrious and commendable career before you founded the Simpsonville Sentinel newspaper. The community and the Sentinel are very lucky to have a man of such experience and patriotism. Thank you again for your assistance.
