Boys or girls, men’s or women’s basketball. Including Rec Ball, AAU, Middle School, High School & College. 

Discussion of how to implement practice and strategies.  

Strategies for the game that fit your age group and talent. 

Systems for a team including offense, defense, base line out of bounds plays, side outs, pressing, what kind of press.  

Skill development drills and how much time to use for it in practice. 

How to practice “situations” that occur at critical game junctures.  

Practicing at game speed. 

How to manage “off season” workouts and training. 

How to agenda your practice for your age group and current talent. 

May include a brief review of the history of the game, how that history and game creation day (1891) impacts all levels of today’s game. 

Instructed by Coach Donn Burrows (Brief Profile) – Currently he is the Assistant Coach and Recruiting Director for the women’s basketball program at Columbia College located in our states capitol. He has coached basketball at the College, High School, Junior High, Rec and AAU levels during the past 29 years. He has also taught college courses at Spartanburg Methodist College and Grand Canyon University (Phoenix, AZ) on the History, Theory and Practice of Coaching Basketball.
