It would be great to have lots of families, schools, and neighborhoods get involved in creating Monarch Waystations!! It's easy to get started, it’s so exciting, and you’ll really enjoy it!

This site is helpful in getting started by suggesting host plants. You should have one or more kinds of milkweed plants and a variety of nectar plants for Monarchs. It also gives you ideas of shelter in your habitat. All Monarch life stages need shelter from the elements and from predators. Sustainable management practices such as eliminating pesticides are also discussed.
