Fountain Inn Hires New Police Chief

Fountain Inn, SC: Fountain Inn takes great pride in announcing the appointment of Patrick Fortenberry as the new Chief of Police for the Fountain Inn Police Department. With an impressive career spanning over two decades, Chief Fortenberry brings a wealth of expertise and a strong commitment to public service to his new role. 

Chief Patrick Fortenberry 

Having served in various positions within the Greer Police Department since 1995, including his most recent roles as Captain and Public Information Officer, Chief Fortenberry has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and a deep understanding of law enforcement best practices. 

As the head of the Fountain Inn Police Department, Chief Fortenberry will oversee a team of 38 dedicated individuals, including 31 sworn officers. His extensive experience within the criminal justice system will undoubtedly prove invaluable in leading the department towards greater achievements.

The City of Fountain Inn is eagerly anticipating a promising future for our police department under the exceptional leadership of Chief Patrick Fortenberry. We have complete confidence that his strategic vision, operational expertise, and unwavering commitment to public safety will serve as catalysts for building a safer and stronger community for all Fountain Inn residents.
