Rod   Sadler   has   been   selected   as   the   first   head   boys   basketball   coach   for   Fountain   Inn   High   School.   Coach   Sadler   will   teach  in   the   Social   Studies   department   at   FIHS,   which   opens   for   9th  grade   students   this   Fall.    

Coach   Sadler   currently   serves   as   the   varsity   boys   assistant   coach   at   Dorman   High   School  in   Spartanburg   6.    During   his   tenure   at   Dorman,  Sadler   has   served   as   both   the   head   JV   coach   and  head   C-team   coach.    Dorman’s   teams,   throughout   this   time,   have   participated  i n   numerous   premier   tournaments/showcases  locally,   statewide,   and   nationally.  

Fountain   Inn   Athletic   Director   Robby   Bell   believes   that   Coach   Sadler  is   a   wonderful   fit   for   the   program,,   “Coach   Sadler  l ives  i n   our   community,   his   kids   will   attend   Fountain   Inn   High   School,  and   he  i s   excited   about   seeing   the   growth   of   our   team   from   the   ground   up.   He  is   a   very   dedicated   teacher   and   coach   with   many   years   of   experience.   His   commitment   to   character,  passion   for   basketball,   and   vision   for   our   program   made   him   an   excellent   hire.”
