“Together we will honor the efforts of our twelve charter members in establishing the first Presbyterian church in Simpsonville as well as look forward to continuing our mission and service,” says Jackie Koch, Office Administrator. The first presiding minister was Reverend J.K. Roberts in 1922, and the first pastor of the church was Reverend D.C. Stogner in 1923. Today, Simpsonville Presbyterian Church is led by Reverend Doctor Mary Anne Welch, along with elders and staff.

Simpsonville Presbyterian Church participates in various community service and outreach activities. The church has its own food pantry, which serves an average of 40 families monthly. Church members deliver meals from Meals on Wheels of Greenville County to the community, providing food and a smiling face to those in need.

Simpsonville Presbyterian Church is a congregation open to all ages and backgrounds. Families with young children are welcome and encouraged to use the “Pray Ground”, an area set up specifically for children near the Sanctuary. Bible Story Bags are available for children during the service, and a nursery is also available for children 5 and under. “Something special happens when people come to worship, to learn about God, to celebrate God.
