For Memorial Day, the Simpsonville VFW Post 1845 will be placing American flags, at no cost, on the veterans’ graves at Simpsonville City Cemetery, Cannon Memorial Cemetery, and Graceland East Memorial Cemetery Park. If you know of a veteran whose gravesite DOES NOT identify him or her as a veteran, please let us know at flags4vets1@yahoo.com . We need to know the individual’s name, cemetery name, section letter, and lot number.  We will be placing the flags on Saturday, May 28th, and they will remain there until after Memorial Day.  Come join us, if you like, Saturday morning.■
