The invitation read…”You are invited to an elegant evening of cocktails, a gourmet culinary experience, theatrical productions, and a silent auction – all in the name of art.”

The theme of the event was ‘Shine Your HeArt’ and was held on Thursday, April 21 at the Mauldin Cultural Center auditorium and was hosted by the Mauldin Cultural Center Council. Tickets for the event this year were $125.00.  According to Claudia Moore, Gala Chair “The Cocktail Attire event is our biggest fundraiser to directly support the operations of the Cultural Center, so that we can continue to give art and culture back to the community.”

The Mauldin Cultural Center hosts nearly 30,000 people and more than 1,000 events annually through various arts education, live theatre, community festivals, special events, and private rentals. 

Moore continued, “We celebrate diversity and strive to give all citizens and visitors the ability to experience and participate in artistic and cultural activities in our vibrant community. The event raised several thousand dollars for the cultural center and was certainly an enjoyable evening for all.”
