Happy 250th Birthday America!

Whether you call this our Semi quincentennial, the Sestercentennial or a Quarter Millennium, this should be a great celebration of how far our country has come, and how much we have accomplished as a relatively young nation compared to others. No other country has provided more military, emergency, medical or financial help to the citizens of other countries than the U.S.A. We also stand alone as the most freedom-loving country, providing the greatest opportunity for success due primarily to our Constitution, Bill of Rights, and capitalist economic and political system. The inventions and discoveries of our citizens have blessed humanity across the board. 

You can witness the excitement for America by simply watching the visitors coming for the FIFA World Cup of 2026, many for the very first time in their lives! The excitement is over the top for everything from Buc-ees massive convenience stores to American food, especially ranch dressing! The Scots have really enjoyed our bars and pubs in Boston, and even Waffle House has received high praise from the Aussies! American freedom has even extended to excitement over FREE REFILLS at our restaurants! Many foreigners have been planning road trips across America to go to different matches and see the sites. The sheer size of Walmart and Costco stores is shocking to many Europeans, and Texas hospitality is blowing visitors away. Even small random towns are seeing the excitement of these visitors, who have been surprised by how different and real our country is, after seeing non-stop media in their home countries, saying exactly the opposite. 

We have so much to be thankful for in this country, and we should be celebrating our birthday from sea to shining sea. As our visitors fall in love with America, I encourage all Americans to recharge their love and excitement for the U.S.A!

My granddaughter Naomi loves America for being the “land of the free and home of the brave” and celebrating how far we have come, and that we are still going strong! 

To really appreciate this country, you need to visit other places across the globe. I have been honored and blessed to be able to travel to many foreign places, both in the military and civilian life. There are certainly beautiful places and people all over the world, but the staggering oppression and poverty that many countries have succumbed to, needs to be witnessed in person to fully appreciate. After many of my pirate hunting trips, I kissed the ground after getting off the plane back home in the U.S.A. No lie. I am unashamed of my love and respect for America and Americans!

One of the best videos I have seen recently, was from a couple from the UK that came here to see America by RV. They have made multiple trips here to visit various places in the U.S.A., and fell in love with our country, especially Charleston, SC! Check out jamesandsiana on Instagram or YouTube to see some of their videos and share their excitement. They compared the poisoned media, general misery, and anti-social behavior across the pond to America when they first arrived and people were friendly and stopped them on the street just to chat! Their experiences helped them decide to engage in the VISA program so they can move to America! I love these stories, and more of them are being shared every day. “And there ain’t no doubt I love this land, God Bless the U.S.A.!” Thank you, Lee Greenwood.
