Fountain Inn Garden Club News

The March FIGC meeting will be held March 14  at 10:00.  Our club President, Jill Scherer, will present a program on the Lost Gardens of Heligan that she visited in Cornwall last spring.  

These majestic gardens cover 200 acres and were abandoned in 1914 when the gardeners left to fight in WWI.  The property was totally overgrown in the years that followed and the hidden gardens were only rediscovered in 1990 and restored during the following 30 years.
