Chick-fil-A Announces the opening of new Simpsonville Restaurant

A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant opened for business in Simpsonville on Thursday, May 5, 2022. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Matt Webber as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A NE Main St. Webber will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 100 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving guests. Chick-fil-A NE Main St. is located at 930 NE Main St., at the corner of NE Main Street and Highway 14, and will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Chick-fil-A NE Main St. will open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry out, as well as third party delivery. Guests can take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through the free Chick-fil-A® App or through online ordering.

In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A NE Main St. will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in Simpsonville with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Greenville County area to aid in the fight against hunger.

 Locally Owned and Operated

Chick-fil-A NE Main St. is independently owned and operated by Matt Webber. For Webber, Chick-fil-A has always felt like family. In fact, when Webber was 15 years old and had his first job as a Team Member, he met his wife, Donna, who was working as a Team Member at the same restaurant. Following his graduation from the University of South Carolina, Webber joined Chick-fil-A's Leadership Development Program, growing both his understanding of the business and love for the brand. In 2005, his dream of owning a Chick-fil-A restaurant became a reality when he was selected to be the Operator of a Chick-fil-A restaurant in North Carolina. Four years later, he returned to the area where he grew up to operate Chick-fil-A Simpsonville in 2009 and Chick-fil-A Mauldin in 2014, both of which he continues to operate today. With 27 years of Chick-fil-A experience, Webber is thrilled to continue serving guests with great-tasting food and genuine hospitality at Chick-fil-A NE Main St.

“I’m humbled by the opportunity to open another restaurant in the community I was born and raised in,” said Webber. “I am eager to continue building relationships in the community and provide development opportunities to my Team Members.”
